Digital multimeter can be used for many purposes, such as measuring resistance, detecting AC voltage or DC voltage, and measuring capacitance. Each measurement method is similar, with a little difference.



1. Procedure for measuring resistance



First adjust the rotation button, and adjust its measurement range to the appropriate value.



Insert the red and black pens into the corresponding holes, and then the positive and negative poles will be displayed.



Connect the other side of the red and black probes to the electrical appliance to be tested, and the LCD will display the measured value.

2. Steps to detect AC or DC voltage



First pull the power switch to the on position, then adjust the button to set its measurement range to the appropriate range.



Put the red pen in the positive hole, and the black pen in the COM hole. Then connect the other side of the two pens to the point to be measured. At this time, the measured value will also appear on the LCD.
