1) One of the most common failures of linear actuators is that the piston rod is inactive.

There are four possible reasons:

1, the motor does not operate;

2, oil pump stuck;

3, the valve does not operate;

4. Too little or too dirty oil.

1, check the motor and electrical appliances to find out the reason;

2. Disassemble and clean;

3, replacement or cleaning;

4. Add oil or change oil.


2) Another common failure of linear actuators is that the piston rod cannot move backwards.

It may be caused by the valve not acting, and it can be determined by replacing or disassembling and cleaning.


3) External leakage is also a common fault of linear actuators.

4) Overheating is also a common fault of linear actuators. 


It can be caused by overworking the actuator, lack of proper ventilation, or heat generated by internal friction. Troubleshooting techniques vary based on the specific cause. For example, if the issue is related to overworking the actuator, reduce the load on the actuator. If it is due to lack of proper ventilation, add cooling fans to the system, or adjust the location of the actuator to a more ventilated area. If it is caused by internal friction, lubricate the actuator's surfaces properly.


5) Noise is also a common fault of linear actuators.

It can be caused by various factors such as mechanical misalignment, inadequate lubrication, or damaged bearings. Troubleshooting techniques vary based on the specific cause. For example, if the problem is related to mechanical misalignment, check the actuator of alignment and adjust it accordingly. If it's an issue of inadequate lubrication, try adding more lubricant and check whether it's distributed evenly. If the problem is related to damaged bearings, replace them.
